Gregory Preston Development Group uses our own “design-through-construction” approach. Design-through-construction simply means that Gregory Preston provides all of the services necessary to take a project from concept to reality. For the Gregory Preston client, the advantages are substantial:
- seamless communication with the architect and construction staff
- tight control over schedules
- intelligent risk management
- control over quality.
In the traditional custom home building model, the client is required to take on the role of coordinator for all phases of the project. The client must interview and select an architect and contractor from several candidates in two independent searches, and secure a slot on their schedules (and hope those schedules align). Additionally, the client will normally secure and coordinate the services of an interior designer. To integrate the work of three independent firms and to align their interests and schedules with that of the owner is a major task. This often results in added costs and compromises in either the quality and/or the schedule.
The Gregory Preston approach is unique and encompasses all disciplines necessary to deliver an exceptional high quality home on a predictable schedule in a cost efficient manner. In this model Gregory Preston is the coordinator making sure all elements come together to yield a superior finished product.
